Heathrow T5 launch Gumdrop Bins in an effort to clean up gum litter around the terminal. We are extremely excited to be working together with Heathrow Airport and OCS who have decided that staff and visitors need to start recycling their chewing gum. Heathrow’s Facilities inspector Mark Pearce said ‘We are really pleased to to start using the Gumdrop Bins here at Heathrow T5, they adopt a closed loop recycling system that will go towards our CSR goals as well hopefully provide a green solution for staff and passengers to dispose of their gum. The Gumdrops at Walrus Road adjacent to the staff and crew bus stops already have quite a few pieces of gum in them! While I was there putting up the posters I got some very positive feedback from staff and Airline staff, so it is looking good on day 1.’
